Learning Kung Fu is a process that requires patience, focus, and self control to excel and progress in the art. When a student learns to excel at these qualities their Kung Fu also excels.

Our classes are very structured and allow an individual to develop at their own pace. All beginners learn to do Horse, a series of stances that are the foundation for all of the movements. At the beginning of each class students spend a minimum of 30 minutes, 15 minutes for children, doing Horse.

After learning to do Horse and a few basic punching drills, students are taught a couple of different hand forms; each consisting of 100 movements or more. Before moving on to the Intermediate level to learn weapons, students must demonstrate a certain level of proficiency in the forms and physical conditioning. Mastery of the art takes years.Learning the forms and becoming proficient is a process that can take months to years depending on the student.
